3 - Parasyte Part I

Upon entering the AVR, I instantly think that we we're going to watch a love story movie where it tackles a lot and which moral lessons are included. But as this poster pops out the screen, I assume that it is not that way. Parasyte? I have no idea on what it is really all about.

As it well started, Parasyte focuses on a 17-year-old male named Shinichi Izumi, who lives with his mom and dad in a peaceful neighborhood in Tokyo. One night, worm-like creatures called Parasites show up on Earth, assuming control over the brains of human hosts by entering through their ears or noses. One Parasite endeavors to slither into Shinichi's ear while he dozes but fails as Shinichi is wearing headphones, and enters his body by tunneling into his arm. In the Japanese version, it takes over his right hand and is named Migi.

As the movie plays, I felt really nervous because of the unexplainable scenes that has  been shown, I don’t know. It’s like I want to go outside of the room so that I wouldn't see those creepy creatures. To be honest,  I prefer watching horror movies than this. I just hate watching this kind of genre. That eating or either killing humans in a not-so-decent way. But, Instead of going outside, I refuse to hide my face using my hands but with a little open on it. Hahaha

However, The overall  cycle of the movie is so fantastic. Even though I am afraid watching it, I am really amused because of the flow of the story. It leaves a lesson that we should really never forget. The movie taught us that we should never waste our time in anything else but instead never have a second thought to show our love to our mother as well as to our father while they are still alive because we do not know when they will leave us.

Moreover,  I admire the person who made this kind of movie. It’s totally different. "What a unique story!" is all I can say.

2 - Written falsification

What is plagiarism? How do we define it? What are considered as Plagiarism? and How do we avoid it?

Numerous individuals think of plagiarism as replicating another's work or getting another person's unique thoughts.  According to my research, The word plagiarism is derived from the word "kidnapper" in Latin. Plagiarism is using someone else work without asking for their permission and copying their works without giving credit. But plagiarism isn't just all about that. It tackles a lot.

HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING THAT CONSIDERED PLAGIARISM:
  • Turning in another person's work as your own. When we were given assignments by our teachers, we usually used google right? because google provides answers to our questions. and to make our assignments/projects easier, we just copied it. and it is considered as plagiarism.
  • Replicating words or thoughts from another person without giving credit. I think there is no person who wants to be stole with his/her works by other people.
  •  Neglecting to put a citation in quotes. Having a quote (") is really important when using someone's work because this shows that it is not definitely came from us. We should be careful of that.
  • Giving inaccurate data about the wellspring of a citation.
  •  Changing words yet duplicating the sentence structure of a source without giving credit. It is really important to give credits to the one who own it because it shows that you respect them.
  • Duplicating such a large number of words or thoughts from a source that it makes up the larger part of your work, whether you give credit or not (see our area on "reasonable use" rules)

However, It's not wrong to utilize other individuals' words and thoughts. What is wrong is that presenting those works as your own. And for my opinion, what matter here is that having an originality as an individual. We should not copy someone else works because it came from their ideas and perspectives. And in order for us to avoid this commonly problem, we should never forget to cite sources and we should put the quote (“) sign, When we used somebody’s work.

1 - Not just a random girl

Hi there! Hannia Ditano is the name. (Read as Ha-ni-ya) what a unique name right? Well, according to my mother my name comes from an Arabic word meaning "beautiful"

I'm seventeen years old. A late 90's kid. I Am asleep at morning and wake up in the evening. Vampire, may be? Kidding. Haha If you're trying to know what is my talent? Or rather do I have a talent? I could say, YES. With a capital of Y-E-S 😊 well, just to let you know, I am a dancer in my room and a great singer in my bathroom hahaha.

Like other college girl, my day consists mostly of studying but I'm not that nerd. I'm just typical girl. I always want to make and have fun. I am a catlover, and I do love reading fictional stories on wattpad (more of love stories) 😊 I have 3 brothers. I'm 2nd in the line. Obviously, I'm an only girl in the family. yeah I'm one of the boys. I could say there is an advantage and disadvantage of that. The advantage is when someone trying to fight you,  your brothers will be your protectors. They will fight for your own sake. On the other side, when you wanted to go somewhere and hangout with your friends, they will be the one who would tell your mom that you shouldn't allowed to go outside because you're just a girl. Like what I had experienced. Speaking of parents,  I have a beautiful mom and a responsible dad. My mom is a happy go lucky person someone that is an outgoing person. You will always see her laughing just like me. But just an FYI, we're not crazy. When we were on bond or together,  we just wanna have a  positive atmosphere all time. My mother is a positive thinker, long tempered and a strong person. That is the main reason why i admire her more. Her personality makes her more beautiful. Opposite of my father, But just to let you know, I didn't mean that my father was not strong and negative thinker but just an opposite of long tempered. Obviously it is short tempered. Because my father easily get mad when he waits for a long time.  Apparently, He hates waiting. He's a policeman. But nowadays, when we here policeman we think that they are also criminals because some of them are involved in different illegal cases, And that is what I love about my father because I know that he is doing his job in a decent way. In addition to this I proudly introduce to you my family :) They are my family, my happiness and my pillars of support.

Back when I was younger, I dreamed to become a successful flight stewardess someday. Because I want to travel around the world with my family.  Very far from what I am taking course right? Currently, I am taking BS-ECE (Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering) at APC. I decided to take this degree because my mother wants me to become a successful engineer someday. I don't know why I followed her and take this  engineering degree, because honestly, just to let you know there is no any engineering degree that is included in my choices. Because I admit that I am not that really good in maths. But in the end I found myself solving math problems and memorizing math equations. Its kinda weird but I am starting to love my degree.  And I know that this knowledge in engineering field will help me a lot to be good in the near future. By applying engineering principles, I will be able to solve any kind of problems that I will meet. And for me everything about engineering is really challenging and interesting this is also the reason why i love it even more.

I also dreamed to become a supermodel. I just admire them, the way they look and walk with a clothes that perfectly suits them.

When I was a little girl, my mother promised me that I will have a modeling workshop. Before going to that workshop, my mom consulted first my father. Sadly, my father decided not to allow me to do and join to it. It is because he's a strict person. And he don't want me to be exposed. But last december 3, 2015. A month ago. School of engineering has a modeling contest,  the "School of Engineering Models" they call it SOEM. It was held on the auditorium. And all the participants of the said event are obviously engineering. In fact, I am one of them. I joined this contest just to gain experience and do what I really wanted way back then. To be a model in just one day. Even though my father disagree with it, he has no choice but to allow me to join to this contest. He just warns me that this would be my first and last pageant that I will be join in. With an average of 89 point something.. I got the title of being the "Ms. Soem First runner up". That was a great experienced I've ever had. An experience that would remain in my memory and my heart. Unforgettable indeed.
